I've tried to use this book several times and have found myself frustrated each time. The table of contents is embedded in the book in such a way that getting to it is difficult. More importantly when the author talks about how to make a smoothie it is said, 'For yogurt, the entire container of yogurt is a good measure'. Sorry I disagree, its not a "measurement" at all in fact. There is no specificity as to whether its a large container, small container, at all. Then for the rest of the "recipes" there is no mention as to whether or not this container is being used, I assume it is. Glad this book only cost me 3 dollars. I am really surprised at the "good" reviews though, no mention of the poor quality of the layout or bad instructions. There are other smoothie books out there. They only reason I didn't give this book one star is because it does have some interesting looking "recipes". Worth 3 dollars though, I'd probably have gotten a different one had I known.Product details

These are some really great smoothies and my son loves them. I can try anything out on him and myself and get an honest idea. The trick is to make the smoothie and then have someone or everyone in your family try them without telling them what is in it until they try them. Give them a try and you will see like I have that everyone is up to trying things if they don't know what is in it. Love Love Love!!
This was a fab book. I am a smoothie person but I haven't tried any green smoothie except for avocado. I am afraid to make one before because I know that most of it taste really awful, so instead, I just made some mango and other fruits and vegetables smoothie other than green. But now, I know the benefits that I will gain when I drink it. It can also help me lose some weight.
This book has discussed some of the topics that other people might not realized yet. I will also share this to my friends and my mom. It's never too late to stay fit in a healthy way. The recipes are also easy to made which I know also taste good as well. There are really a lot, I mean a lot of recipes you can choose from, whichever suit you taste. Thankies for this book. Thumbs up to the author.
Being healthy is the number one thing in my family and I came across this book while searching for another smoothie book. I read through and found some good recipes that I would like to try. There were some that I would not try, but this book was well written and I had a good time reading it. This is a keeper for me and my family. I hope to see more of these books around as well as some from this author.
Awesome recipe book for green smoothies. I tried a few of these out to help with my weight loss goals and they actually taste really good. At first it's hard to get past the fact that they're green, but aside from that they're great. I tried some out with kale and spinach in them and you can't taste it at all which is nice because I usually hate eating spinach and kale by themselves. These smoothies are a great way for vegetable haters to get their vegetables without having to taste them. A lot of these smoothies are supposed to be good for your skin too, so I plan to try some of those out to help with breakouts.
For the year 2013, I made a resolution to start a healthy lifestyle. Now that the vegetable garden that I have started is starting to reach full bloom, I've decided to look for a book that talks about green smoothie and how to properly prepare them. I stumbled upon this book on promotion and immediately read it.
For a newbie on green smoothies, this book is awesome. It gave me a background on the green smoothie revolution, information on the benefits of going green, and insights on the best vegetable-fruit combinations to create a nutritious and delicious smoothie. Most of the recipes have my favorite fruits and vegetables in them. I never thought of combining them into a smoothie before. Just like most people, I'm not used to adding vegetables in my smoothie or shake. But, now that I know that it can be done, I can't wait to go ahead and try them.
This book is generous, not only does it gives helpful recipes for green smoothies. The smoothies are quite nutritious for those who take time to make them. If you’re looking for something sweet these drinks is just what you need to have. During the summertime, parties are a great occasion to introduce these delicious green beverages. The book may seem long, but it is worth the read when you’re least busy.
Too many people look for smoothie recipes on the internet and find they do not create scrumptious healthy drinks. This book contains good material for those wanting to create a good source of protein for their get-togethers. If not a person who does not like to read books, it is okay. The kindle version is good to have on your pc, to read one recipe and then move onto another topic. Some drinks shown may not hit everyone’s taste buds, but you never know until you try it yourself.
